Gift Voucher

A pic I found in my archives that I haven't shared yet. This one was a gift voucher that I was asked to make for a customer, so I didn't share it straight away until she was given it. Sorry the pic isn't very good quality, obviously I no longer have it to take a better one.
I used a Jumbo Grommet & Designer Button layered on a few punched circles as the centre for my ribbon flower.
Behind is the matching envelope I decorated to match

Teacher Gifts Part 4

One last set. This one was for Miss Kerrie (I know yesterday's was for Miss Kerry too but that was Miss Kerry with a "Y" and this is for Miss Kerrie with an "IE" I think the centre has about 4 Miss Kerrie/Kerry's lol).

This first design uses a jumbo grommet. I threaded the ribbon through the grommet before sticking the grommet down then tied the knot in the centre.
For this set I left the box detail fairly simple since the DSP pattern was so nice I figured I may as well let it be it's own feature. The 1st photo shows better how the label on the front is nice and wavy. I just bent it before using glue dots to stick it on the box.
Another simple card. I love how this stamp from "Best Yet" looks so good in a layered scallop circle, I'll be sad to see the set go when the new catalogue is released later this year. (Ok, who am I kidding? I'll be so excited over new product I'll find something else to love... I'm such a fickle stamper lol)

Teacher Gifts Part 3

This was the set I made for Miss Kerry, Miss Kerry will be moving up to the "Sunshine" room with Charlotte this year so the transition to a new room will hopefully be a little easier if Charlotte knows one of her teachers.
This set is pretty self explanatory:

Oh, and I've been meaning to post this link from Allison:

Advent Calender of Cards Day 22

Another card that Nikita helped me design. I love this design, so simple, and you could easily pump out millions from 1 sheet of DSP.
On a side note, I'm watching The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button as I write this, has anyone else seen it? I know it's not exactly new so I'm probably the last one to see it, but I'm really enjoying it! Such a sweet story.

Advent Calender of Cards Day 12

3 more of my 35 for $35 class cards... I'll give you a different card tomorrow (very different I promise, no I wish kit to be seen anywhere!) and then we only have about 2 more days worth of these cards left. I'm working on a card I'll show you in a few days, such a fun little card, perfect for someone with a quirky sense of humour!

Advent Calender of Cards Day 11

Another one of my favourite sets from the 35 for $35 class. Baroque Motifs is technically not a Christmas set but pair it with some Christmassy colours and it becomes a great Christmas set. It is the 1 set I think all stampers should have in their collection, it's just so versatile, I've used it on sympathy cards and wedding cards and everything in between.

Cardstock: Kraft, I Wish SS Kit
Punches: Scallop Oval, Large Oval

Advent Calender of Cards Day 10

Back to the 35 for $35 cards again, (I promise only a few more days of these and then we'll have some more variety in the cards I'll show) I love the simplicity of these... Not that the class was anything but simple cards... When you do 35 cards in a few hours you don't want fiddly lol

Advent Calender of Cards Day 7

3 more from my 35 for $35... I love how plain these ones are... So simple, but the textured cardstock (not so visible in the photo) keeps them from being too plain if you know what i mean...

Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: I Wish SS Kit, Kraft
Accessories: Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain, Chocolate Chip 1/4" Grosgrain

Advent Calender of Cards Day 5

These 3 cards from my 35 for $35 were probably my least favourite out of the set, but when you're designing 35 cards they can't all be winners right? And anyway the girls didn't seem to mind them.
I have another non-Christmas related post today so don't forget to scroll down and check it out

Advent Calender of Cards Day 2

These 3 cards are cards from my 35 for $35 class I ran earlier this month, I will share the rest over the next few days. All the cards at the class were made using only 1/2 of the I Wish Simply Scrapping Kit with some Kraft for card bases and some scrap cardstock, I created my class based on Jan Farring's 80 Cards Class, however due to Australian cardstock sizing (A4 vs 8 1/2 x 11"), I could only really get 70ish cards out of a kit and then I halved the class so it wouldn't take us until Christmas to get them all made (we like to talk while we stamp, don't we girls?).
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Best Yet, Short & Sweet
Ink: Old Olive

Happy Fathers Day to you from me

Another father's day card, this time for Justin's dad but again using a non-fathers day sentiment. This one uses my favourite set from the Spring mini, I haven't shown it yet because I've been using it on some birth announcement cards which I don't want to show until the baby is born obviously. But this set is so adorable for little boy cards and layouts, I love it! (Imagine it on a scrapbook page pulling the title across the page...)
Stamps: Best Yet, Right on Track, Choo Choo
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Brocade Blue
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Brocade Blue, Very Vanilla, Patterns II DSP pack
Accessories: Old Olive Brads, 1 1/4" square punch

Hostess Thank You gifts

I have a workshop booked tonight with a group of new customers and as a little thank you for the hostess I made this little gift boxed set of love notes, there are 2 of each card in the box and the best thing is that once she's used the cards she can use the box as a gift as well if she likes.
To make the box I followed this tutorial on SCS, I realised half way through that my box was very similar to the sample, since I used the same DSP pack, Whoops!
These are the 2 cards I made to match
Anyway, wish me luck! It's been a while since I've done a workshop rather than a class. I'll be back over the next few days to share the projects that we made, as well as the lucky door prizes I will be handing out to 2 lucky girls.
