Create Wall Art

Around Christmas time I bought a 12x12" frame with the idea of maybe using it as a framed scrapbook page Christmas present for the grandparents but Christmas came and went and I didn't get around to it so it was just sitting there while I thought up something else to do with it. Then when I saw this gorgeous frame made by Bronwyn Eastley for the Just Add Ink design team, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, so I put it on my to-do list. The main factor stopping me from doing it straight away was the fact that I had no 12x12" kraft in my stash. So anyway, while I was weighing up whether Sahara Sand would sufficiently fill the void (you know me and my Kraft obsession), I spotted Kraft amongst the new 12x12" single colour packs in the Autumn/Winter mini!!! And then, because I knew that it was coming I couldn't possibly use anything other than Kraft cardstock. But the wait was worth it, because I was able to pair it up with my newest obsession, Cottage Wall DSP!!!

PS Check out my new page (you can also find a link in the sidebar<==), I have created a page to link up my list of projects that I want to CASE in some way in the future, I was keeping track of them all in tabs in a firefox window but everytime I had to restart firefox it would take for-EVAH so I made this page for personal reference but I thought I would share the inspiration. I will be deleting them as I use them and adding them as I find them so keep checking back regularly.

You're Too Kind

I saw this great card by Sue Madex and I just had to CASE it! I took the opportunity to make the thank you card for Nangar Gems who donated the Pandora bracelet that I won at the trivia night to other day. I also had to use the new Cottage Wall DSP. I'm addicted to that stuff!!!
Sorry I've posted this after Sale-a-Bration is over, I'm still working my way through the cards I haven't posted yet.

Just My Sketches & The Blend - Bad Day

This is my layout for the April 1 reveal. I chose the song Bad Day because I had taken these photo's of Charlotte throwing a monster tantrum the other day (well not MONSTER monster, it didn't involve eye gouging, etc but still a big one...). I took the photo's because I was actually having trouble not laughing at her. This little "event" was all because she woke up from her afternoon nap a little cranky and I offered her a banana and she obviously didn't want a banana (normally when she's a bit fragile in the afternoon a snack and "Play School" or "The Night Garden" will do the trick).
By the time we got to the close up pic, she had spotted the camera and was milking it a little, but the rest of the photos aren't staged in any way...
Anyway, head on over to Just My Sketches and check out the challenge and the great monthly RAK you could win.
