Found some comics

Hey, we're every loser & his mother! cool.

I'm going to send this one to people who forward stupid things to me all the time. Like my Poppy (yep, my Grandpa knows how to use the internet... or at least the forward button on his email)

Internet again!

Yay I have internet again!!!
We finally got our phone connected so even though its not DSL like I'm used to (which is about a week away)it's still internet! I have felt so out of touch with everyone.
While our phone was out we found out last night that apparently people had been able to call in on some weird bizarre number that is nothing like the number we have. We've been checking the phone every day to see if they'd connected it yet by dialling some random number (ok not completely random, mum's, justin's work, my friends house etc but we picked who we were trying randomly) and it didn't work yesterday afternoon so when the phone rang an hour later we were wondering what on earth was going on. It was just a telemarketer but she was really nice when before she could even get the speel out about what she was selling and I asked her how she had called us and what number she used. Anyway by the time we worked out how she'd rung us she just asked me if I wanted Austar and when I said no she just said ok and hung up. Maybe I've found a way to get rid of telemarketers without having to yell at them and tell them for the 50th time (in one conversation) that you don't want their product.

We are without internet for a while (moving sucks) so that's why I won't be posting for another week or so.
PS I am writing this at someone elses place

You are calm and rational.
You are also giving and kind - a great friend.
You are easy going and trusting.
However, you are too sensible to fall for mind games.

You Are

An Evil Pumpkin Face

You would make a good pumpkin bomb.
In my defence I had to answer no to all the questions coz we don't do halloween in Australia and so it seems like i'm an unfestive meanie head.

You Are a Glazed Donut

Okay, you know that you're plain - and you're cool with that.
You prefer not to let anything distract from your sweetness.
Your appeal is understated yet universal. Everyone dig you.
And in a pinch, you'll probably get eaten.

I'm Scared

Justin & Kristen are moving the entertainment unit at the moment, my beautiful wooden entertainment unit, they are having trouble getting it down the stairs, and I've been able to hear them talking about it and working out ways to get it round the corner etc, but now they've gone quiet, maybe they are really riding it down the stairs like a sled, just like they threatened they would. I'm going to go and check...

The Bat Bus is Haunted

Ok Dubbo has this bus that goes around on Friday & Saturday nights and takes people home from the pub for less than the price of a taxi & they go places normal bus service doesn't, anyway the bus is decorated up with sponsors names & bats all over it (hence the bat bus). Anyway they use it as a normal bus during the day and I swear every time I've got in the car to drive somewhere today it's been parked along the way with noone in it. I'm starting to think it's Haunted and following me around town.

Ok, I know this is my 3rd blog in probably less than 3 hrs but leave me alone ok. I found this cool little survey that tells you what colour your blog should be. Apparently green was the wrong colour scheme for me but I like it and I'm keeping it.

Your Blog Should Be Purple

You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.
You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.
You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

Hi Mum!

Hi Mum!!! I'm on the Internet!!
I just found out that mum's read my blog so I thought I'd say Hi.

Wish Upon a Star

It finally turned up. About 3 weeks ago I ordered wish upon a star online and it finally turned up today. We used to watch it all the time at sleep overs during school holidays.
Yay!

Got...To...Out...Do...Deborah

Deborah thought she could outdo me huh? I've got to blog again so she can't beat me!

So I may as well tell you bout whats happening with our new place now that I know.
We have an appointment on Friday (20th) to sign the lease and pick up the keys and all that. Mum and dad aren't available that weekend to help us move so they're coming round on Australia Day (Thursday) with the trailer so we can move all the big stuff (hopefully we'll get most of the boxes over there before then so we don't have to worry about any of that on the day). If we don't get finished on Thursday they'll come back on Saturday. After that we'll have to clean all the ridiculous places that in reality noone ever cleans like the tops of the kitchen cupboards that are 8ft off the ground or the tops of the lightswitches but for some reason real estate agents always check there and we'll hand the keys back for our old place on the 3rd of Feb.

Anyway better go keep packing - box count is now up to 16.

Me & My Mother

I'm turning into my mother! aaaaaaagh!!!!
My mum is one of these people that the minute she learns that she's going to be moving she packs everything in sight, you sit still you get packed. I remember the first time we moved(technically the 2nd but I was less than 6 months old the real first time) when we left Albury, Dad had a job interview up in QLD and decided to let me have a week off school to go with him in case he didn't get the job so at least I could say I'd been to QLD. We drove up there over 2 days stopping at every 2nd town in a park with a playground for a break for me (and so dad didn't have to put up with a complaining 7 yr old so probably a break for him too). When we got there Dad went to his interview while I sat in the reception area with a brand new colouring book and pencils bought that morning especially for the occasion (so i didn't run wild and ruin his chances I suppose). Anyway they asked Dad to come back in 2 days later to find out if he had the job or not since he told them he was only visiting and it was when only Perry Mason had a mobile phone and it was as big as a normal one (old TV show mum & i used to watch when I was little). So in the mean time Dad & I went to the beach (I got to go swimming in my clothes because it was winter or early spring and in Albury that meant really low temps so we hadn't thought to pack swimmers) and we explored and found a town that we wanted to live in if he got the job. So anyway when we went back they told dad he had the job and gave him a start date for a few months later and I wanted to call mum & tell her but dad said we had to keep it a surprise until we got home or else we'd get there and all our stuff would be packed up in boxes.
I suppose my point is that we found out yesterday we were moving and I've already packed 12 boxes I would've packed more but we thought we'd have enough to keep us going for the weekend and we'd get more on Monday. Mum keeps teasing me that I'm turning into her and I think she might be right...

PS that holiday was also the first time I ever took a photo. Dad had brought his camera with him and on the way home we spent the morning at Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo (who would have thought that almost exactly 10 years later I would've moved here) and dad let me take photos of the Zebras (they were my favourites coz they were the only animals that started with Z. (or that I knew of at age 7)

Random Blogs

Crazy Cats

I was flicking through random blogs by clicking on the Next Blog button - as I do rather regularly, I can read about complete strangers that I'll never ever meet for hours - anyway I was doing that and I found this on someones site. It was funny.

Lucky 13

Friday the 13th is lucky!
We got the house!!! We get the keys on Friday (20th).
What more do I need to say!

Sippaah Straws

I bought these milk flavour straws from the supermarket. They are so cool, they have these flavour beads in them and when you drink the milk through them it goes all strawberry in the straw. Anyway nothing else to report except these things are cool they're like quik (or whatever they call it these days) in a straw.

Update on the Blog Stalking

I've just found out I have at least 2 blog stalkers, and not the anonymous person who commented on the first blog stalkers post I think we can all safely say we know who that was, not mentioning any names... Katie!
One of my stalkers is in denial about her stalking and claims she can just tell me what she thinks rather than comment or that I'm too boring, we all know that isn't true!
The other one is my father-in-law - now what will i do if i ever want to complain about how horrible my in-law's are ;)
Anyway I think it's kinda cool that I have stalkers. I didn't think I would ever write anything worth stalking.
Have a good day

PS we apply'd for the place on Monday lunchtime and yesterday afternoon they were checking out our references so hopefully we will find out tomorrow if we get the lease or not.

Moving...Maybe

We might be moving, still within Dubbo but just to a slightly bigger (ok a lot bigger) place to rent than we're in now.
The photo isn't the exact one we're moving into but it's in the same complex (the "fontenay estate" or something equally as ridiculously posh sounding anyway). The one we're going into is the one up the back still under construction in the photo. (It's finished now it just needs the covers put on the light switches and stuff - that's how new it is).
Anyway it has a dishwasher (no more cranky Zarna when Justin doesn't do the dishes), and a 3rd bedroom (when people come to stay we'll be able to use our computers without having to move them to the coffee table in the lounge room), but the biggest thing for me is the storage space, there is a cupboard under the stairs that has almost double the space than our linen cupboard & laundry cupboard combined! Then on top of that it has built in's in 2 bedrooms and a walk in robe in the main bedroom, a walk in linen cupboard (I didn't even know you could get those), more kitchen cupboards (no pantry though). This all combined means no more cranky Zarna when there's mess everywhere and no-where to actually pack it away to! (so basically the whole house means Zarna is less Cranky - might explain why Justin wants to move there so badly even though he hates moving with a passion).
It's more rent (obviously considering how much better it is than where we are now) but we're still going to be able to save a ridiculous amount each month towards our own home. I just hope now that I've told everyone how great it is that they approve our lease application thingie. Shouldn't be a problem because Justin's rented through the agents before.

PS The only bad thing about it is it doesn't have a purple wall or bathroom like our current place (I'm going to miss that because it's all sort of neutral tones throughout)

New Years Resolution

Why do we make New Years Resolutions? We only either cheat by making one that requires no effort or punish ourselves when we fail miserably at the impossible tasks we set.

Blog Stalkers

I was reading a random blog the other day (I love the next blog button at the top of the page) anyway this girl was talking about Blog Stalkers - people who regularly (or semi-regularly) read your blog but never comment so you don't know that they read it until one day you mention something and they say "Yeah I know I read it on your blog".

Let's stop the blog stalking
I'm tagging anyone who reads a blog regularly even if you only read it a few times a year to comment so people know you know what's going on in their life. Also if you agree post a similar message on your blog!

Francis Niblick the 3rd

My friend made a new yahoo id so that she could play games online without people trying to pick her up all the time. She called herself Wally Numnuts the 3rd (coz apparently there is someone out there called wally numnuts the 1st & wally numnuts the 2nd). Anyway so her husband made one too and he called his Guy Incognito the 3rd and I made one and I am Francis Niblick the 3rd (ooh yes as in Kerplunk, kerplunk whoops wheres my flibble).
Anyway nothing else to report, we're going to go and play yahoo poker online as guys now.
