Well....

It's time for an update I suppose. A few weeks ago we went to Claire & Seths wedding, it was beautiful. We didn't get much of a chance to catch up with people at the wedding because we had to sit at a table with my parents (not that that's a bad thing but we'd spent the whole week with them already) so after the wedding we went to Nicks place with Chris, Carol, Eddie & John Nyman and watched the worst movie in the whole world (it was one of those ones where you keep watching because you think it's got to get better, but it doesn't, it just keeps getting worse) & ate pizza and had fun. On Sunday after church I went round to Amy's with Katie(yay I got to see Katie!!!), Deborah, Liv, Karin - Nick & Eddie turned up for a while but I think we were too hyper for them.
Yesterday was our Anniversary, I got a jewellery box, a pendant, a Rose & chocolates!
It's the first time since we got engaged that Justin has given me flowers. We went out for tea & watched a dvd too which was fun.
Last week someone crashed into my car on the way home from work, except for the car noone got hurt:

While it's getting fixed, Nick was nice enough to lend us his ute, which is fun driving around in a V8!

I got to babysit Makayla today! Megan was at my place today to say hello & return the phone she'd borrowed and while she was hanging out with us she got called in to work. Mike was out of town for work so I volunteered. We had heaps of fun, she's such a good baby, she slept most of the time and didn't even do a pooey nappy for me! She's getting so big she's almost doubled in size since last time I saw her!

Louth Races

I'm going to Louth again! I don't think I had a blog last year so I'll have to explain. Louth is this tiny little town 80-100k's west of Bourke (or 450k's west of Dubbo) and every year they hold races (the horse type) and the town explodes from like 50 people (including the surrounding properties) to like 4 or 5 thousand. The races are awesome, rich people fly in on their private jets & chartered planes and they have this huge marquee (of which I'm not rich or powerful enough to enter) that has like waiters with bowties and jazz quartets. There's other tents but that's the swankiest. Anyway work helps out with the Fashions in the Field Judging (although it's not technically work related) but Cathy (who's like the Louth Veteran - she's been about 5 or 6 times) and I and Maryanne are all going out for the races. It's so much fun! I'm so excited. Here are some pics from last year:
